Christmas thought

22 Dec 2006 | Uncategorized

Taken from the Coaching Mums – Inspire newsletter, I thought this was definitely good advice. Yes it’s mum-orientated but I think the spirit of the message is applicable to everyone:

If you do nothing else this Christmas, read and  ponder on this. Stop making Christmas into a self- imposed stress inducer for you to be the best mum, buy the best presents, make the best canaps etc. The golden memories for your kids will be the ones where their mum is happy, relaxed and playful. Give your kids the ultimate gift: A smiling, loving and fully present mum this Christmas.

So on that note what I really want for Christmas this year is to enjoy it with a relaxed and happy husband and a healthy bouncy son. Tune in next year to see how well we do…
